در این مقاله می خواهیم روش فرمول نویسی و نام گذاری ترکیبات معدنی را بیان نماییم. که می تواند برای دانش آموزان دبیرستان یا پیش دانشگاهی مورد استفاده قرار گیرد، همچنین سایر افراد که تمایل دارند با علم شیمی بطور مفهومی آشنا شوند، نیز می توانند از این منبع برای ورود به بحث استفاده نمایند. سعی داریم تا با استفاده از یک روش مفهومی نامگذاری را آموزش دهیم تا احتیاج کمی به محفوظات داشته باشیم هرچند از حفظ یک سری موارد بی نیاز نخواهیم شد. امیدوارم مورد توجه شما دوستان قرار گیرد.
قبل از ورود به بحث شما بایستی آشنایی یک اجمالی با جدول تناوبی کسب نمایید. به این ترتیب که بایستی با گروه های مختلف آشنا شده و اعضای آن گروهها را بشناسید، ظرفیت های عناصر مختلف را بدانید و نام ونماد آنها را به خاطر بسارید. ولی نگران نباشید چنانچه مدتی تمرین نمایید این مطالب را به راحتی خواهید آموخت و هیچوقت فراموش نخواهید نمود.

جوهر نامرئي چيست؟
در زمان جنگ جهاني دوم، كارت پستالهايي از لهستان پست مي‌شد كه سربازان آلماني به آنها توجهي نداشتند. اين كارتها كاملا معمولي به نظر مي آمدند اما واقعيت چيز ديگري بود. همه اين كارتها حاوي مطالبي به صورت رمز بودند. از جمله درخواست غذا و دارو، اعلام مكان پايگاههاي نازي ها و زندانهاي اسرا. چگونه اين عمل اتفاق مي‌افتاد؟ بااستفاده از جوهر نامريي.
جوهرهاي نامريي انواع مختلف دارند و به طرق مختلف عمل ميكنند. بيشتر آنها بر اساس خاصيت تغيير رنگ در اثر تغيير PH عمل ميكنند، دسته اي هم بر اساس اكسيداسيون مواد در اثر حرارت شهرت يافته‌اند.
جوهر نامرئي با تنظيم PH چگونه عمل مي‌كند؟
وقتي چنين جوهر نامرئي به يك ماده متخلخل اضافه مي‌شود، آب موجود در جوهر با دي‌اكسيد كربن موجود در هوا تركيب مي شود و اسيد كربنيك را بوجود مي‌آورد. اسيد كربنيك به نوبه خود با سديم هيدروكسيد وارد واكنش خنثي شدن مي‌شود و كربنات سديم را بوجود مي آورد. خنثي شدن باز، سبب تغيير رنگ معرف مي‌شود و در نتيجه اثر جوهر، ناپديد مي شود.
اين واكنشها را مي توان به صورت زير نمايش داد:
CO2 + H2O à H2CO3
2 Na(OH) + H2CO3 à Na2CO3 + 2 H2O
مواد لازم براي تهيه جوهر نامريي:
مواد مورد نياز براي تهيه جوهر نامريي قرمز يا آبي به شرح زير است:
طرز تهيه جوهر نامريي:
براي تهيه جوهر نامريي به طريق زير عمل كنيد:
1. تيمول فتالئين يا فنل فتالئين را در الكل حل كنيد.
2. محلول را به 90 ميلي ليتر آب اضافه نموده، هم بزنيد. ( محلولي شيري به دست مي آيد.)
3. محلول سديم هيروكسيد را قطره قطره اضافه كنيد تا رنگ آبي يا قرمز به دست آيد.
4. جوهر را روي پارچه آزمايش كنيد. ( پارچه كتاني يا روميزي كهنه غير قابل استفاده). كاغذ، فشرده تر است و كمتر به هوا اجازه واكنش مي‌دهد، بنابر اين واكنش تغيير رنگ ديرتر صورت مي‌پذيرد.
5. طي چند ثانيه، لكه ها ناپديد مي‌شوند. PH محلول جوهري بين 10 تا 11 است اما بعد از اينكه در مجاورت هوا قرار مي گيرد، به 5 تا 6 كاهش ميابد.
6. اگر محل لكه ها را با پنبه آغشته به محلول بازي مثل امونياك رقيق مرطوب كنيد، لكه ها دوباره ظاهر مي شوند. برعكس اگر اينكار را با سركه انجام دهيد، لكه ها سريعتر بيرنگ مي‌شوند. شستن پارچه ها، جوهر را به طور دائمي مي شويد.
نكات ايمني:
جوهر هاي نامرئي كه با حرارت عمل مي كنند:
اساس كار اين جوهرها به اين صورت است كه مواد به كار رفته در اثر حرارت، اكسيد مي شوند كه نتيجه ظاهر شدن رنگ قهوه اي در اثر حرارت است. مواد گوناگوني براي اينكار استفاده مي‌شوند كه از همه بهتر آب پيلز و آب ليمو است. شير و سركه هم عمل ميكنند اما نه به خوبي دو مورد اول. متن مورد نظر را با قلم هاي قديمي يا با خلال دندان روي كاغذ بنويسيد. اجازه دهيد تا پيامتان خشك شود. براي آشكار شدن پيام كافي است آن را روي شمع يا حرارت ملايم لامپ بگيريد.( احتياط كنيد!)
جوهر هاي نامريي تحت اشعه ماورا بنفش:
بعضي از جوهرهاي نامريي، تابش فلورسانس دارند. اين جوهرها در تاريكي و تحت نور ماوراء بنفش، خيلي براق و درخشنده به نظر مي‌آيند. آنها را مي‌توان در رنگهاي بسيار متنوعي يافت و درهمه سطوح از جمله پلاستيك و شيشه به كار برد.
شيمي مدادها و پاكن ها:
پيش از اينكه مدادها براي نوشتن استفاده شوند، مردم از سرب استفاده ميكردند. سرب آنقدر نرم هست كه طرح كمرنگي از خود باقي بگذارد، اما كربن بصورت زغال يا گرافيت، اثر پررنگ‌تري به جا مي گذارد ( ضمن اينكه سمي هم نيست). در عين حال، كاربرد كربن بصورت زغال كثيف اما گرافيت تميز است.
گرافيت مدادهاي ابتدايي، با رشته هايي از جنس هاي مختلف پيچيده مي شدند كه بعدها به جاي آن از چوب هاي تو خالي استفاده شد. مدادها در اصل رنگ نشده بودند اما در سالهاي 1890كه مرغوب ترين گرافيت از چين مي آمد، مدادهاي زرد رنگ رايج شدند، چون رنگ زرد در چين معرف احترام و نشان اعضاي خاندان سلطنتي بود و استفاده از رنگ زرد، نشانه ويژگي ها و برتري هاي خانوادگي به حساب مي آمد. امروزه مدادها در هر رنگي عرضه مي شوند اما هنوز هم زرد بيشترين رنگ متداول است. چون رنگ زرد بيشتر به چشم مي آيِد و راحت تر ديده مي‌شود.
پيش از اختراع پاك كن، نوشته هاي مدادي به اندازه نوشته هاي جوهري امروز، دائمي بودند. بعدها توانستند اين اثرات را با كشيدن اندكي از نان سفيد بر نوشته هاي مدادي، از بين ببرند. آيا مي دانيد كه ما چگونه از نان به انواع گوناگون پاك‌كن هاي امروزي رسيديم ؟آيا مي دانيد كه نان يا پاك كن چگونه نوشته ها را پاك مي كنند؟
تاريخ مداد و پاك‌كن:
نويسنده هاي روم باستان با يك ميله ظريف سربي، بر روي پاپيروس مي نوشتند كه بنام stylus معروف بود. سرب، فلز نرمي است و به اين ترتيب stylus علامت كمرنگ و خوانا از خود به جا مي گذاشت. در سال 1564 ذخيره بزرگي از گرافيت در انگلستان كشف شد. وقتي مردم متوجه شدند كه گرافيت اثري تيره تر از سرب به جا مي گذارد و تازه سمي هم نيست، مدادها مورد استفاده قرار گرفتند. مداد درست مثل Stylus ها استفاده مي‌شد، با اين تفاوت كه در آن پوششي براي گرافيت به كار مي‌رفت تا دست استفاده كننده، تميز بماند و در ضمن گرافيت كه بسيار ظريف و شكننده بود، سالم بماند.
وقتي كه شما علائم مدادي را پاك مي كنيد، در واقع گرافيت ( كربن ) را پاك مي كنيد و نه سرب. امروزه پاك‌كن ها در رنگهاي مختلف وجود دارند و مي‌توانند علائم مدادي و بعضي از انواع خودكارها را پاك كنند. آنها از لاستيك، وينيل، سقز يا مواد مشابه درست مي شوند .

پاستل استفاده مي كنند). ادوارد نعيم؛ مهندس انگليسي؛ اولين پاك كن را در
1770 كشف كرد. در واقع داستان از اينجا شروع شد كه او هنگام پاك كردن يك
مطلب، اشتباهي يك قطعه لاستيك را به جاي نان برداشت و متوجه خواص آن شد.
بعدها او شروع به فروختن پاك كن هاي لاستيكي كرد. اما لاستيك نيز مانند نان
فاسد شدني بود و به مرور زمان، حالت بدي پيدا مي كرد. در نتيجه پاك كن هايي با جنس‌هاي مرغوب تر به بازار آمد.
در سال 1858، هايمن ليمپن ـ پروانه ثبت پاك كن هاي متصل به مدادها را دريافت كرد، كه امروزه بسيار رايج و متداول است.
پاك كن ها چگونه عمل مي كنند؟
پاك‌كن در واقع ذرات گرافيت را از سطح كاغذ بر ميدارد. مولكولهاي پاك كن چسبندگي بيشتري از مولكولهاي كاغذ دارند. بنابراين وقتي پاك كن را بر علائم مدادي مي‌كشيد، گرافيت ترجيح مي دهد كه به پاك كن بچسبد و نه كاغذ. بعضي از پاك كن ها، سطح رو يي كاغذ را خراب ميكنند و در واقع آنرا نيز برمي دارد. پاك كن هاي وينيلي از پاك كن هاي لاستيكي نرم تر هستند اما همين خاصيت را دارند. پاك كن هاي هنري از لاستيك نرم ـ زبر درست مي شوند و علائم را بدون از بين بردن كاغذ پاك مي كنند.
تهيه مداد:
اين تصوير نشان مي‌دهد كه چگونه از يك قطعه چوب، مداد توليد مي‌شود. مغز مداد هاي امروزي از نسبتهاي مختلف گرافيت و خاك رس درست مي‌شود. در صد متفاوت اين دو ماده سبب ايجاد مدادهايي با " سختي " هاي گوناگون مي‌شود كه معمولا روي مداد نوشته مي‌شود. علامت"H " نشان سختي وعلامت"B " نشان ميزان مشكي بودن مداد است. "2H " يعني مداد سختي دو برابر دارد و "HB " يعني مداد سخت و مشكي.
